Lite or standard: which card is right for you

One needs no ID and is funded once. The other is yours to keep and top up. Here is how to choose.

Rynex has two kinds of virtual Visa card. Both work anywhere Visa is accepted, online and through Apple Pay or Google Pay. The difference is what happens after you create them.

The lite card

A lite card needs no ID check. Your name, your email and a phone number to reach you on are enough.

  • It is funded once, when you create it, with up to $250.
  • It cannot be topped up afterwards.
  • The balance cannot be withdrawn, so you spend it or close the card.

Our card provider allows three lite cards per phone number, frozen ones included.

A lite card suits a single purchase, a trial, or a one-off subscription: something you want to pay for once without sharing your main card.

The standard card

A standard card is issued in your name, so your identity is checked once, before your first standard card. It takes a few minutes.

  • It is yours to keep, and to freeze or close whenever you want.
  • You can top it up as often as you need.
  • You can withdraw what is on it as USDT, to the withdrawal address saved on your profile, less a network fee.

A standard card suits everyday spending, ongoing subscriptions, travel, or anything you will want to fund again.

Quick comparison

  • ID check: lite, none; standard, once.
  • Top-ups: lite, no; standard, yes.
  • Withdrawals: lite, no; standard, yes.
  • Keep it for the long term: lite, no; standard, yes.

A card for each reason

You don't have to pick only one. Many people keep a standard card for everyday spending and open a separate card for each subscription or trip. When the reason ends, they close that card and nothing else is touched.

The fees for each kind are on the pricing page. When you are ready, create your card.
