One card for every subscription

Give each service its own card. Cancelling becomes closing a card, and a bad charge can't touch anything else.

Most people pay for every subscription with one card. It works until a service is hard to cancel, a free trial quietly turns into a charge, or the card has to be replaced and every service needs updating at once.

With Rynex you can give each service its own card instead.

How it works

  1. Name it. Create a card and name it after the thing it pays for: "Netflix", "Spotify", "Cloud storage". That name is how you'll find it again in My Cards.
  2. Fund it. Send USDT. The card holds exactly what arrived, less the fee shown before you sent.
  3. Use it in one place only. Enter that card at that one service, and nowhere else.

Why it helps

Cancelling becomes closing a card. If a service makes leaving difficult, close its card. The next charge has nothing to take from, and nothing else is affected.

The balance is the limit. There is no overdraft and no credit. A card spends what was put on it and then stops, so a price rise or a surprise charge can't run away with your money.

A bad charge stays contained. If one service has a problem, freeze that one card the moment a charge looks wrong. Your other cards keep working.

You can see what each service costs. Every card has a live list of what it has spent, with the merchant and the amount.

Which kind of card to use

For a subscription you'll keep paying, a standard card is the better fit: you can top it up whenever the next payment is due.

A lite card suits a one-off: a single month to try something, or a free trial you don't want to roll into a paid plan. It is funded once and can't be topped up. Here's how the two compare.

A note on fees

Many subscriptions are billed from the United States, and a payment to a US merchant has no cross-border fee. A payment to a merchant outside the US does. Every figure is on the pricing page, and there is no monthly fee for having a card.
